Gently down the stream

Leaning to the Light

Red Campion - Silene dioica

These beautiful days just keep coming, don't they, even if rather colder than of late.  I took this early morning blip down on the track by the Nuns' Stream, just before the builders turned up.  The campion flower had pushed it's head through a wire fence to catch the dappled light filtering on to the path.

The rest of the day has been relentlessly domestic for me and pretty hard work for the builders.  However, they went off about 4 with nearly everything finished.  All that's needed now, apparently, is some gadget called a rain-saver, which no Winchester supplier currently has in stock.  Apart from that they've done a really fine job, so now all I need to do is order the carpet.  Good stuff.

The results of WFW25_04 will be in my journal tomorrow evening.  Hope your day's gone well.  Stay happy  xx
