for doing a curtain rail myself.

First hole in wrong place. Managed to find two nuts of the right size - one to lock the other so that I could extract the joining screw with a spanner.

Second hole found the gap between bricks and went ragged.

Third hole also ragged. Filled all three. Waiting till morning for the filler to set hard before starting again with a smaller bit and new rawlplug.

Then I can offer up, and eventually, make good.
