Northern Lapwing/peewit

From a distance lapwing look black and white but up close you can see they have a beautiful sheen of colours on their wings.  They are on the red list for conservation in the  UK as their numbers have declined dramatically, arent they lovely with their head crest.  I saw this one on Sunday.
