The Windsor

The default blip in the northern branch office is the garden blip. When based at the southern branch office, it is the #leithwalkshop. So here is The Windsor, as it is rarely seen. This evening, every single pub and cafe on the west facing side of Leith Walk (the right hand side as you head downhill) had chairs outside and those chairs were occupied by sun seekers. I guess it was warm in the sun, but my goodness the air was still very chilly out of the sun.

The day was mainly spent in interviews - one of the more pleasurable and interesting activities. I didn't have time for much else, although I got some reviews finished that I was doing for an institute for advanced studies in Finland. I'm just about managing to stay on top of the to do list.

In other news, the granddaughter has arrived back in the UK (obviously accompanied by her parents!). She was apparently a bit fussy on take off and landing, but generally behaved better than some other babies on the flight. It was good to see pictures of her in London. She seemed to be enjoying her new environment.
