Unfortunately, this old kettle-reflection shot, complete with kettle scale, will have to do, as I don't have any photos of the Perseid meteor shower! My son and I sat outside for an hour and a half around midnight staring at the sky. I only saw three, but the first one I saw was quite spectacular! A very long tail and yellowish in colour, I've never seen anything like it before. I'd have loved to have got a shot of the amazing sight...but I'm afraid you have a picture of me and a cup of peppermint tea in a kettle instead.
