New Rose

After a morning of drab housework, I felt a little weak and weary! It was far too beautiful a day for weariness and napping though, so I wandered over to Greenwich Park as parts of it had been re-opened to the public. I thought I'd have a little, lazy sit down in the rose gardens and stare at roses with dreamy eyes, but the little sit down turned into a very big sit down indeed. Well, the roses have to be admired whilst they are looking their best..it's not the same staring at pruned sticks!

I'll be watching the Olympics Closing Ceremony at home with a (large-ish) glass of wine I think?
