An ordinary life....

In situ...

Another beautifully sunny day and I think it's forecast to continue all week.  Woo hoo.

David headed off to play golf with Adrian, Kenny and Keith and Agnes came here bringing freshly made sandwiches and soup for the local deli for lunch.  Yum!

Lunch over we moved ourselves outside and spent a very pleasant afternoon sitting in the sunshine.  At one point a small plane passed over flying very low.  Could have waved at the pilot!  It circled a few times then flew out of sight.  I'm assuming it may have been pilot training from nearly Strathallan airfield.

Mid afternoon my phone pinged with a message from my niece Jen.  She is hoping to move into her new (and first) flat at the end of the week.  She was messaging me to say that the throw I crocheted for her matches her living room perfectly and sent me a couple of photos.  I had to blip her pics to save them for posterity in my journal :-))

Agnes left just before 6pm (we thought it was about 4pm!) and David arrived back about half an hour later.  Won't see her or Adrian for a while as they're off to visit Adrian's sister in Kent for her 60th birthday then we will have Blip Pal Patricia here, so there will be lots to catch up with on our next get together.

Jerk chicken, roasted pineapple, homemade potato wedges and salad for dinner then settled down to watch episode three of this season's Scotland's Home of the Year.   The right home won the heat. Next week they area featured includes our area so will be interested to see the houses.  A house from our wee town was a finalist in 2023.  Hoping to get some inspiration for decorating our bedroom :-)
