Tritonia deusta
Another little South African bulb. Brightly coloured, just a few inches tall. Brightening up the greenhouse as summer approaches.
The day started with another walk with C and the Megs ... plus Bella ... our last for a while as they head home midweek and I am working all day tomorrow. They'll be back :-) On to pottery for a couple of hours before lunch, gazing pots and some glaze tester pieces.
This afternoon the Tra Mor Singers (Tuesday singers) sang for a VE day tea party at the Workies for a good number of the residents from the local care homes. Due to some kind of a mix-up, we had a longer slot to fill so this was our longest set to date, nine songs. As always we had a laugh and rode a couple of little hitches with customary good humour.
Back home the light evening allowed for a good bit of garden time. Four more hanging baskets planted up, they'll hang in the greenhouse mostly, where the slugs and snails cannot reach them. I did d=some weeding out front too. This evening I have watched Time Team on YouTube while making a couple of little vases with some clay left over from an other project.
All this makes it sound like a busy day but it's actually been a fairly leisurely one.
