One from yesterday

It makes me exhausted just looking at it - and those hills!!  Well done James and the team.

Today was cold and I nearly wimped out of BP first thing but plans to go in the garden were scuppered by the weather.  I was home by 11.00 after the class and OH was visiting MIL in the home.  I had a catch up call with No.2 as I haven't spoken to him for a week.  It was a rushed chat as he was just going out but we caught up.

OH home and we had some soup (made with the yellowing brocolli but it tasted ok).  Still cold and not conducive to gardening we had a trip to Junction 7 - OH wanted to get some more shorts.  There was low stock on sizes so I suggested he take a snap and I would order online when we got back.  Although - computer said 'no' as they seem to still be suffering with the cyber attack?!  

OH had a snooze and prompted by the commemorations today I wanted to watch a film about WW11 - didn't fancy paying £3.99 to watch The Dam Busters on Amazon so opted for Operation Mincemeat instead.  Good film and a daring plan which happily succeeded.

Easy dinner (prawn open sandwich with avocado on account of still full up with soup).

Day done and I'm still cold!  (Can we light the fire in May?)
