A day of thirds

To start, chatted with R about her day yesterday before she left. She certainly made the most of her shirt time in Edinburgh and then went next door. Coffee and fizz lubricated the setting of the world to rights and a romp through history. It was nearly 3 when I returned.

In the middle: it was cloudy and cold (5 deg colder than yesterday my weather app told me) so the heating went on again and I sewed in the front room before digressing and going down the rabbit hole that is family history.

The last part: had a meal of leftovers and fridge lurking veg with couscous, ordered a glass wall hanging (in a sale), went back to sewing and let Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow wash over me. I'd have finished the cross stitch border if the Boyd family hadn't grabbed me.

At least in the midst of the lack of movement and general indolence I managed to stand up and grab a blip of the evening sky with the outlines of the Kirk and the hill.
