Out and about in Akbuk

Gorgeous weather today, my focus was on Tramp settling in and making Rufus comfortable about it (see yesterday).  This morning I learned that walking two dogs on leads is a skill I need to practice! Still, we three managed and although the two dogs are still not interacting, there is no animosity. 

At 13.00 I walked with Lucy (my neighbour) to Paşa restaurant - I had Rufus and Lucy had Tramp. both dogs behaved well and Tramp had a spring in his step which was good to see.  After lunch we took a stroll around the boats, such a beautfiul day to wander and also good to get Tramp accustomed to his new life and new people.  Today's collage is  the photos I took as we walked about.  Once home again, Lucy invited me in for a cuppa and our conversation included the topic of building a sun room on my roof - someting I've been considering. 

What was left of the afternoon passed in pottering and sitting on the terrace mostly with some Blipfoto friends catch up. (Thank you btw to everyone for kind comments last week on my 4,500th Blip just as I was preparing to leave the UK, your much appreciated) At 8pm I gave both dogs a third and last walk for twenty minutes - all three of us need to trim down a bit!  And now it's been a peaceful Netflix night.  

One thing that is a concern for me is that Tramp really doesn't like the street cats, and consequently, insists on chasing Momma Catz off the premises - and I can't have that. This is her home, for nearly a year now. She finally came back tonight when both dogs were indoors, so I gave her dinner on the terrace and now she's snoozng there.  I'm not quite sure how I'm going to solve this.
