Sunday lunching

Mum and I went to church this morning. She hadn’t been able to go for the past seven weeks, so lots of people came to talk to her and to ask about Dad, which was nice.

My sister and lovely nieces came to lunch. When I left, they were taking Mum for a hospital visit.

I am on the train to London now, from where I will catch the overnight bus to Glasgow. It hardly seems possible that I arrived here just over 48 hours ago. A full on visit but I’m glad I came.
