Early Start
I thought I'd go out earlier than I have been lately - getting into trim for tomorrow when, despite it being a bank holiday, the builders will be here at 8.30am to start work repairing the conservatory. It was a beautiful morning, so a lovely walk round the reserve where I came across this Canada Goose family. In extras is a shot of Father (on guard), Mother (demonstrating how to sift for goodies in the mud) and their one little chick. The parent birds never look, to me, particularly elegant or beautiful, but they do have the dearest little chicks, don't you think - big ahhh factor..
I've spent the rest of the day clearing out the conservatory (for the builders), emptying the water butts (for the builders) and weeding one of my out-of-control borders (for me).
Have a great Sunday evening xx
