Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose

I’m completely shocked anyone read these entries: My life is so bloody boring at the moment and I am not sure whether this is due to the “countdown to hip replacement” mode I am in or the fact that I am as dull as Eric Olthwaite (should anyone remember the majestic Ripping Yarns episode. Actually, Ripping Yarns was a fantastic series, all things considered. “Across the Andes by Frog”, “The Testing of Eric Olthwaite”, “Escape from Stalag Luft something or other”, “Tomkinson’s Schooldays”… some fantastic comedy that seems to have been completely forgotten. Michael Palin wrote a lot of it, if I am not mistaken, before he became a “national treasure” and went off to discover the world. Anyway, worth a look.
 
Another wet and windy day. Seriously, the past couple of weeks have been the dictionary definition of “changeable”. Spent the day indoors, mostly doing admin stuff and sorting photos into an album. Another fantastic make-work job for myself.
