Museu Nacional De Arte Antiga

Spent the morning in the Museu Nacional De Arte Antiga. As a small section was closed off they let us in for nowt. Result. And it was fascinating. After we’d had our fill of antiquities it was time for something completely different so we headed up the road to the Museu da Marioneta and spent a very happy hour looking at all the Laika sets and props. As we had seen all their films (Paranorman, Box Trolls, Kubo and the two strings, Coraline, Missing Link) it was cool seeing all the models and behind the scenes stuff.

Then we wound our way back to the hotel, picked up our bags and headed off to the airport. A short trip but worth it. We will be back.
