Johnny and Robert and Ruby and Ossian

As Ruby had their first ever driving lesson at 9am tomorrow I offered to pick her up after the Johnny Flynn and Robert Macfarlane gig then bring her home. By way of a trade off, Ruby ended up providing my blip today.

I dropped Osh back at the flat, Ruby picked some stuff up ( including kale seedlings and home made profiteroles from Kelda) then we headed home along the coastal route due to the ongoing nighttime closures of the A1.

The gig was apparently amazing. Ruby and Osh had a great time. Johnny and Robert have made a couple of albums together which have somehow passed me by, I listen to a lot of the formers albums (and thought he was excellent in “Emma”) and read Robert’s books. Just never crossed streams. Sounds like I missed out. Glad the kids had such a great time though.
