Rivoli's hummingbird

I was feeling better this morning so I decided to go out to breakfast then to Madera Canyon. I didn't stay long because it was crowded at the bird viewing area but still was able to get a Rivoli's hummingbird.  The light was decent and I was able to capture most of its coloring.  It's a pretty big hummer, too.  Even in the dark, you can tell it's a Rivoli's and not another species.

I picked up the migraine medicine but my insurance paid for only nine pills.  Hopefully, I won't get them as often as I did the past two weeks.  It's a lovely day. A few puffy clouds, a slight breeze and a high of only 89°/31.7°.  It was especially delightful in the morning when I headed out for the day.
