Made a slow start to the day and just pottered around at home till it was time to walk down to the Health Centre.

Saw a GP about my leg ulcer.  He prescribed a short course of antibiotics and then he asked the nurse if she would fit me in for a consultation.  As the nurse was busy I had a bit of a wait before seeing her.   She put some honey ointment on the ulcer and put a fresh dressing on.( Ive been putting dressings on myself since the ulcer started ).  She measured my leg for new compression stockings ( I already wear some ) - but she couldn't prescribe them yet as I need a doppler test first.  The earliest she can fit me in for that is 14th May.  I need to go back next Friday to get the dressing changed and she  will check to see if the ulcer is improving.

Next stop was the chemist to collect the antibiotics.  Then food shopping.  Needed a lot today as the fridge was empty after my holiday.  Bought lots of fresh fruit and veg... and yogurts,

Ive added an Extra of the scaffolding at the back of my house.  The cats hate it.  Tino was sitting on the back bedroom windowsill this afternoon and batting the glass trying to get to the metal poles.  And Lily seems afraid of it.  I don't think they are going to like it when the workmen arrive to get on with replacing the gutters on Tuesday.
