Dolly's Day

CAT AT THE GATE

When I went out into the back garden to replenish the bird feeders I spotted my neighbours cat Cheeky at my gate.  Just sitting there .... waiting.  Waiting just in case there were any cat food leftovers for her.  And today there were. I did some processing of my shot for Abstract Thursday - thanks to Ingeborg for hosting.

I spent most of the day at home doing a few chores and watching TV.  Caught up with last nights episode of Professor T.  It was the last episode of series 2.  Its a programme I really enjoy. Last nights episode was very emotional - I was in floods of tears at the end.

At 5.30pm it was time to walk to slimming group.  I haven't been "on plan" for around 2 weeks so I wasn't surprised to see a 5 pound gain on the scales tonight.  Never mind --- I'm back  "on plan" now so hopefully there will be a loss next week.  Group was quite busy this evening - a lot of members stayed for " Image Therapy".  Local elections were taking place today and another room in the Church building was being used as a polling station. I could see a steady stream of people turning up to vote. I didn't need to vote today as I have already voted by post.

The weather today was dry and quite warm but it started to feel chilly as I walked back home from slimming group. Thankfully this area missed all the thunder/lightening a lot of places had last night.

Steps today - 8,080
