Lunchtime ….

It’s been a week full of superlatives. I’m very aware I’ve used the same adjectives in each journal write-up!

Today we drove to Goudhurst, a Kent village we knew well when taking M and J to summer camps years ago. It’s always worth a return visit. Today for my birthday lunch. We sat outside in beautiful sunshine appreciating the shelter from the parosol. We both chose crab salad. A treat. We even had dessert today, mine was beautifully decorated!

This evening I’ve been to choir then we’ve sat in the garden round the fire pit, needing jackets but hardly really. So still and the sky so clear.

I’ve been blessed by wonderful cards and greetings from friends and family. Oliver asked for FaceTime before I was up ( brave boy) He looked amazing in a suit for Formal Friday at college. The last week before A-Levels begin.

Many gratefuls this week. Never taken for granted.
