If you can't beat them...

Lady's Smock ( Cardamine pratensis )

We have the last short visit to the Lodge for a few weeks a guest in today and out on Monday.  So in the morning a quick run out to finish the cleaning and leave the welcome pack.  While there I had a look at the "wild flower meadow" to see if there were any early flowers showing.

Other than the ubiquitous Daisy there were Cowslips and Lady's Smock.  I chose the Lady's Smock as I don't think I have blipped it before.  There are many common names for the flower but as I grew up calling Lady's Smock I will stick with thayt.
