Taking Advantage....

... Of the fact it's Friday so I can post flowers with impunity.
Today I popped round to the Rectory with some little stickers to stick on otherwise out of sight appliance plugs in the kitchen. There's nothing worse than trying to work out which socket is for what. It's all coming together, just the finishing touches and some decoration to go. It's looking good. This afternoon we picked up the older girls from school and did their usual dancing drop offs. We'd just got home when Ali turned up with her two, she and her husband are off to Glasgow to see Derren Brown, the tickets were a birthday present. She'll sleep at ours tonight though as will Katy's two and Katy, who is on call this weekend, her husband is on duty too so the girls are stuck with us oldies.
My blip is of the first iris in my garden, my new fritillaries Acmopetala, a dwarf purple rhododendron which I have nurtured from an almost dead single stick, it's finally starting to look like a proper plant after many years. The fish are enjoying the warm weather and the plastic heron, although looking pale and interesting continues, along with the net to protect them all.

Great news today too see a post from Rosemarie55 who had been missing from blip since December. Blip relationships can be strangely strong and having someone disappear without warning is horrid. Welcome back to Rose.
