Clematis montana

Today's the day ...................... for white on white

Such a lovely time of the year I always think - with new wonders in the garden on a daily basis.  The clematis on the back of the house that wiggles up the drainpipe, is in full flower as you can see above.

And I'm pleased to tell you that the wanderer has returned home this afternoon, full of his adventures in the northwest.  There's lots to show him here too - while he's been away, his plants have been getting on with growing.

Lovely to have him home ....................

PS  Just noticed that last year on this day, it was blue on blue!
