A theatrical lane

In Wellington.

Early start to catch the 0730 Airbus to Wellington this morning for a two day meeting. It has been slower than ideal (for the amount that is still to discuss tomorrow), but otherwise not a bad day.

After the meeting and before a drink and a meal I fitted in a Wellington central city run. I found myself in Courtenay Place, and then saw a lane heading away, and as i jogged down it, I realised that in contrast to the graffiti art so prevalent in the central city (including the opposite wall to this one) this wall was painted with a long mural showing theatre scenes; with a difference.

This piece of the long painting appealed most, and is what I got the best picture of. I did make minor adjustments to the darkness, which makes it easier to see the features.

Lovely meal out at Evans Bay, and now back for an early night before another early start, although without the flying.

Worth enlarging

ADDITIONAL: I have this morning checked with a Wellington colleague, and this is probably the external wall of the St James Theatre, which would explain the nature of the long mural.
