Uphill Struggle

It has been very warm today  28 degrees centigrade. 80 degrees fahrenheit.

I took Hollie on an early walk to avoid the worst of the heat. But it was an uphill mile and I took it steady. There was no ice cream van or pop up bar at the top.

So after a brief rest we made our way back down to the shade of home. And a very big bowl of water.

This fabulous clematis is putting on a great show in a cottage garden. At about the halfway point.

Hospital this afternoon, another consultation, more food for thought and a big decision looming. 

All is well but I am contemplating another 'elective surgery'....a very positive appointment but not an easy decision.

Put it off till another day. 

A lot cooler this evening and some welcome rain. Freshen things up nicely.
