Windy Day

Today has been a sunny but very windy day.  -this is along the coastal road with our village in the distance. At least, after a couple of days without sunshine, the solar had powered up!
We visited a friend in the retirement complex today to see how she has revamped her unit. It is beautiful, and it has given us lots of food for thought! I then visited another friend there whose birthday it is. It's so sad visiting my once best, vibrant friend, who after a severe car accident three years ago has lost that spark she used to have. It's difficult making a conversation with her.
A long chat with daughter Penni in Johannesburg who has so much on the go, I find it hard to keep up with her!
Hubby is happily watching rugby and I will find a corner out of the wind, and read my book. It is after all the May day public holiday.
