Used to be grand...

Tuesday..really cold.

Was going to spend the day on a sports day with Ella's school and other schools, but it was postponed until later in the week, with the weather being too wet for some of the rugby grounds to be used, so have been at home getting more office work done.

Went out briefly, and took this blip.

I pass this place often, it is the entrance way to what was a very grand old home, with a huge garden that you could glimpse at thru stone fences and old iron gates, my sort of place.
Unfortunately, the EQs managed to damage the building beyond repair and it was demolished months ago.....the garden is now a rambling wilderness, still privately owned so not sure if the owners are going to rebuild something there or not.

This is quite a typical scene around parts of Chch now...
