Bayleaf

More rain today, much in the form of brief torrential showers. Plus it was a Margot minding day. M took her out twice and got her to sleep so the impact on me was minimal.

Then out into the garden, washed clean and dripping. I saw this bayleaf with its upside down bit of the world, snug in its watery parabola.
