Summer?

Despite my ministrations last night the bike is still not right.  I think the rear brake is gripping. Had a look online at what to do and I'll need to have a go.

Another beautiful, sunny, warm morning, great for the solar panels. My bill showed me I'd used less than £23 for gas and electricity last month so I arranged to get the not inconsiderable surplus I've built up with Octopus last year to be refunded. I reckon it would have taken about 18 months to recoup otherwise. Profiting from the sunshine some washing was done and the dishwasher put on. I started to pot up plants outside. I'm keeping them close to the house on case there is a frost warning.

Ate lunch outside and got an update on the Manor washing machine, mended. Into town (no jacket!) with a stop at Boots then our class. It was fun but confusing, though I like Zinnie.

Got home before so sat in the garden, in the sun, sewing. Earlier it had said it was 18 but felt like 24. Ate dinner outside then bussed back into town for choir. The sun was shining on the gorse on the hill.

We finished early so I watched last night's WDYTYA and then did dinner Apex admin and got embroiled in a long conversation with #3 about bank accounts.

Of course it isn',t summer and the temperatures are going to fall again
