It’s green!
This is the view from Shona’s garden where I had coffee with her this morning. It’s lovely and green and fresh.
We’ve had quite a productive day. We drove to Gateshead to the dreaded yellow and blue emporium and quickly managed to get what we needed - a suitable (and cheap) mirror for above the bathroom sink, and some cushion pads for the assorted dining chairs we got free ages ago. Then we called in at the paint shop in Morpeth. The woman was very helpful and we got some taster pots. She even gave us some lining paper to try the colours on. Mr C drove round the block while I went to get some Clarins sun screen and a mascara at Rutherford as they had an offer on of 4 free items. Next stop was the chemist at home to pick up my new painkillers. The GP had prescribed Ibroprofen. I mentioned I’d got a small ulcer and hiatus hernia but she says as I have Lanzoprozol I should be ok. But if I start coughing blood I should get help at once. I’m so reassured.
Katy asked a few of us to have Pimms in her garden between 4-6 so that was a treat.
Cousin Duncan is in Italy with his van. I recommended Castiglione del Lago where #2 daughter got married and they love it.
