Is this summer?

Could this be it? 

It was glorious today, like  a July summer's day, with the Spring apple blossom almost wilting in the warm breeze along the Pond. The day was spent in the garden preparing for new fencing and levelling off the ground where the new summer shack will be placed. It'll be delivered in three week's time so we are on a mission!

In the extra I have included the funky coot chicks for those interested. They are five days old today and looking a little plumper with their eyes opened a bit wider. I found them playing mud pies in the reeds whilst their parents were off looking for their tea.
