Hazeleigh Woods
A walk via the old railway line, south of the town across a new solar farm to the beautiful Hazeleigh Wood. Privately owned ancient woods, owned by a lady who is living a subsistence lifestyle earning only her pension and loving every single tree In the wood. She enthusiasticly showed us round, explaining everything as we followed each other in her footsteps.
We enjoyed lunch at a pub chatting with MLaM and the group leader, John B.
The evening we took a trip to the Stock Theatre group - amdram of the farce; 'Laying the Ghost'. Very enjoyable, and a total contrast to the play on Wednesday. It made us both laugh out loud several times and kept the audience entertained.
