Thought my clematis had finished flowering back in May June, but noticed a couple of buds over the weekend hiding behind some really horrid pyracantha, which has been carefully snipped away and we have been rewarded with this beautiful jewel of a flower.

Mrs Billy no mates tonight as hubby away, so not only have I come home to an empty house but I'm having to sort out my own dinner. I am fortunate in that generally hubby cooks during the week so I can come in and flop with a cuppa. So I put my dinner in the oven and went out for a brisk walk to relax and park all those niggly worries that come home from work with me. Now relaxing in the conservatory,listening to some music and watching the sun do magical things to the sky.
