Classic cars

A free classic car show in the town today, was the best event I've been to in ages. A long line of beautiful classic cars, sports cars, a couple of camper vans, vdubs and some wonderful coaches.

We arrived a little early for the event not having found much by way of publicity about the event but just after 11.30 the cars started arriving, the whole town centre was closed to 'normal' traffic as these cars were parked up along the high street. The town soon filled with lots of people wandering about, there was live country and western music and a couple of stalls selling drinks and ice creams, fantastic to see the town filled with so many families and fellas instead of the usual old ladies and their shopping trollies!

We stayed around for over three hours soaking up the atmosphere. Really hope they put this event on again.
