(Not) Kingsday

Every year on his birthday our King and his family visit a different town or city in the Netherlands. With his brother, four nephews and their wives. They walk through that town or city and get entertained on the way. Joining in with sports or a quiz, sampling local cuisine and have a talk with different people from there. Today the walk started later than usual, providing opportunity for everybody to watch the services for the pope.

I watched both. I'm not religious but this pope seemed a good one, as they should be but not always are. I hope they choose wisely when it comes to the successor. 

P.s. The King's birthday is on the 27th. We don't celebrate on a Sunday.  Well, I would, but King and government won't.
