The view from the road to Delta Lake…..
Whilst out and about today I drove up the Wairau Valley and sidetracked up a road that snakes its way to the south up into some hills. There is a small lake tucked away up there and houses on lifestyle blocks. Vineyards crawl up many of the slopes. It was truly heaven on earth there today… so far away from the tumultuous world. This view looks northwest across the Wairau Valley to the Richmond Range and Mounts Riley and Sunday……. Drink it in and feel the serenity.
