River changes….

The recent heavy rains caused the Taylor River to run a “fresh”. That is a welcome small flood of water along the length of the of the river bed. However the flow made some changes to the river bed. It brought down loose shingle at the Purkiss Street footbridge as seen in this photo. We need another “fresh” to move the shingle further downstream and thus increase the depth at the footbridge.
