"This is the worst day ever"

There were tears and upset today... 
There was the burning down of his Minecraft house with lava - it was an impressive fire.
Not wanting to read his book - he did really well when he did. 
There was not knowing what to do at the park - he did find a school friend. 
It was too cold in shorts - we had trousers.
The ice cream van didn't have any screwball cups - a cone was not an acceptable alternative. 
He didn't know what to have for dinner - there were plenty of options to choose from. 

I think we all need to be more 6 years old sometimes and let those little frustrations out. 

The day wasn't all bad though as we did go on a walk down to the woods hunting for King Kong and Godzilla.
