Hide and seek
We paid a visit to Blists Hill today with our new passes. It was a lovely sunny day as we wandered through the town, stopping off in the fairground*, enevitably ending up at the outdoor play.
Owen was a bit worried about what he would be able to do but, in typical fashion he barely let his arm stop him and I had plenty of lifting up and down ladders. After plenty of running around and a spot of lunch he decided he wanted to play hide and seek. Filled with inner dread about not being able to find him I -outwardly- enthusiastically agreed albeit with some rules.
Once I'd found him it was my time to hide. I chose a cunning spot that wasn't too hidden but that I could also see from to make sure he was OK. He spotted me almost straight away through the slats in the wall.
The rules
1. Only inside the outdoor play area
2. No going up ladders or climbing
3. If he heard me shouting his name, he had to come out
