Diary of an Edinburgher

Bin find no. 3,546

Archie and I went round by the Links early today, for Pip was coming to visit, and often, he just doesn't want to go for a walk. - he's happy snoozing and maybe having a snuffle around the back garden.

In the afternoon, JR took Archie out once Pip had gone home. I busied myself making a curry. Everything was laid out for me. But I can't say it was an unqualified success. Though I did make some nan bread. Easy peasy. Except that I measured the flour, then realised I didn't have enough yoghurt. A sensible person would have put half the flour back, but no, I added the not-enough yoghurt in, it was too crumbly until I started binning handfuls of flour. My kneading skills - with my weak wrists - aren't good, and I didn't persist for very long, but got fed up and plopped a couple of rather thick, scruffy nans into the hot fry pan anyway. They were edible, I think the next ones I make will be delicious...
