Beyond the Basin

Acrylic painting on canvas, 20x16". Finished on 8/11/13. This one took me a long time to envision, imagine. I used to live in Boulder Colorado and the flatirons always inspired me as they were different and more beautiful every day. Red Rocks park was also nearby and I loved the amazing terra cotta clay. Of course the sunflower is so fun to sneak in there... this time on a rock in the water :-)
