Bluebells

I made it up to the top of the hill - to see the Felley Priory bluebells.

They hadn’t had as much rain yesterday and it wasn’t muddy.

They were stunning. I have never seen such a huge area of magnificent natural native bluebells. The sight was worth every step of the climb. Now, I want to retain my fitness so I can see them in 2026.

The frustration is that you can never ever capture the effect of them with a camera. You have to be there, preferably in as huge an area as this so you can be caught up in their midst.

I’ve included some extras but the magic is still elusive. A sight not to be missed.
