First lobster roll

Mike went out to get the hire car this morning.  Then we packed up everything and tidied the apartment.  We were on our way around 11am.. 

First stop was Duxford beach. It was rather chilly and misty so we didn't stay long.  Next stop Plymouth where we went to Yogies.  Becky and I had lobster roll and chips. Delicious. Astrid had chips.  Then we got ice cream at the same place...... peanut butter for me, pistachio for Becky and vanilla choc swirl for Astrid. 

More driving till we got to a retail park where we did a grocery shop at 'Market Basket'.. a huge supermarket.  Then we drove to our apartment in Chatham. Arrived there around 6pm.  Lovely place..... very roomy. It's above a shoe boutique.

We relaxed for a while and then Mike and Becky popped out for a drive and to buy more food and alcohol.  No alcohol sold in supermarkets so they had to go to a liquor store.

When they got back we had some food and then it was Astrids bedtime.    We all seem exhausted this evening so it will be an early-ish night all round. 

Thanks for all the lovely comments about Beckys marathon run....... and apologies for lack of comments from me. Too tired in the evenings and  it's not  so easy to comment using my phone.  Seems to take ages and with the small keyboard I make a lot of mistakes.
