Flax Reflected…..

Flaxes growing along the river banks made pretty reflections in the slow moving sections of river.
We had some more welcome rain yesterday, heavy at times, leaving 14mm in the rain gauge. It seems strange to be grateful for that modest amount when hearing of torrential rain and flooding in other parts of the country. The local rain has re-watered the stretch of the river upstream of the confluence of Doctors Creek. It’s lovely to see the water running along that section of river now after months of bare shingle river beds.
I am really enjoying granddaughter Emily’s company. We have been out and about, walking, shopping, talking and having fun. She has been teaching me computing skills and sorting my devices. .
