Dodging Puddles….

A group of young people overtook me while I was walking the Taylor River paths very early this morning. They needed to negotiate their way around some of the puddles along the way. The day was dull and grey. Not a lot of people about and only a few dogs. 18mm of rain in my rain garage at 9.am. Very heavy rain set in at times…. I reckon the drought is over.
I picked up my one and only grandchild from the airport around 8.30 pm last night. She’d flown from Auckland to spend time with me and pets for a few days. She is a treasure and we are both having fun.
