a morning clearing a pile of rubbish (tree branches, weeds, grass cuttings) and then off to cut a mammoth hedge in the afternoon - just had time to snap this chap on the lavender hedge by the garden gate before we went out. got half-way down the hedge when suddenly it went all chilly and windy... the stepladder blew over (hitting me in the back, ouch), then dripdripdripDELUGE. had to dive for the car - then wait til it eased before heading home, serious cloudburst.

good job we picked the strawbs and the peas last night really...
