Fall is in the Air

Woke to a pancake breakfast on the patio. Thunderstorm last night and cloud cover this morning made it feel like we were camping, even though we live in the middle of town.

Trip to a local state park. Cooler than normal day. Visited the tallest cottonwood in North America. Snacked on blackberries. Took photographs while bicycle riding. Rode the ferry across the river. Picnic lunch.

Hurt my back snatching up the boy as he was headed for the dusty dirt piles right as we were leaving. Ugh.
