A day of travel

Got up early and did some last minute chores..... feeding cats, changing cat litter, putting rubbish and recycling out etc..  Mike arrived around 10.15am and we were on the road by 10.30am.

Drive to collect Becky and Astrid.  Then to Mikes Mam and Dad's in Leicestershire where we stayed for a while having coffee and hot cross buns.  Then off to the Premier Inn near Heathrow.  Arrived there around 7.10pm. (Total mileage for Mike was 270 miles) 

Had our  evening meal in Premier Inn.  I had chicken and ham pie, chips and peas.  Back to our rooms and I've watched a bit of TV. 

We are meeting tomorrow morning at 5am to head for Heathrow and have breakfast in the lounge. Then onwards to Boston.... Fingers crossed the travel goes well.
