Big skies
Spent the morning working on the hooks for the conservatory doors, which were broken and needed to be replaced. Turned out to be quite a difficult job, as the screw fixings were all rusted or unable to be unscrewed, but with a variety of tools and some brute force I eventually managed to remove them. Putting the new ones in wasn’t easy either, and I had to be inventive, but I did get them to work. However I think after all that we need shorter hooks, which I shall buy when I next get to Wickes.
Afterwards I saw these cows on the field in the distance, and thought it looked very peaceful and serene.
We did some shopping and gardening later on but it wasn’t getting me very far so I ordered a rotovator that I hope will make life easier.
