Les coquelicots

On my walk a couple of days ago I spotted these poppies, but the light wasn't good, so I returned today hoping they hadn't been completely destroyed by yesterday's rain. It was actually sunny, albeit very windy. Another view in extras.

I went to the market today. Judging by the weather, and the difficult parking situation, I'd thought it would be busy. I was wrong; not many customers, and several of the regulars weren't there. Including the cheese guy. I didn't buy very much -- carrots, new potatoes, yet more strawberries. Most of the town centre is currently being excavated, so that probably put people off coming.

Community gym this evening: a small turnout as our leader A has a bad back and has been forbidden by the physio to do any sport. We managed between the five of us. Then home for a Zoom chat with my sisters, a quick bite to eat, and then a chat with S. It's nearly time for bed now!
